Kindergarten: Allicia O'Campo

Allicia was born and raised in a Christian home. She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior when she was 16. In December 1996 Allicia married her best friend and high school sweetheart, John. Allicia and John have a son who attends Calvary Middle School. In her spare time Allicia enjoys working at her church, being a youth sponsor, singing on the praise team, and teaching 3rd/4th graders every Sunday. Allicia has been an educator for 18 yrs. She has taught at Calvary Chapel Christian School as a kindergarten teacher for five of those years. Teaching at Calvary has been both a blessing and a humbling experience. Instructing and motivating students in who God is has made memorable moments. She is looking forward to being part of your child’s early academic years. 3rd Grade: Jonathan Urbalejo

My name is Jonathan Urbalejo and I am the third-grade teacher at CCCS. I graduated from the University of Arizona in 2001 with a degree in Elementary Education. I was blessed to grow up in a Christian home. My father and mother were a reflection of CHRIST and an example to me of HIS love. At a tender age I knew that I desperately needed a SAVIOR and I accepted JESUS. My wife  Carrie and I have been married for going on 16 years and we have precious daughter named Emily. About two years ago I felt led to come to CCCS. After much prayer and consideration the good LORD opened the doors for my wife and I to come work at CCCS. My life verse is 2 Corinthians 4:7-12. No matter what has happened or will happen in life I know that my FATHER will be with me. With this knowledge in hand I take peace and comfort.

4th Grade: Roberta Beitel

My husband and I are native Tucsonans who met at church as single adults. We have 2 children who are the joys of our life and a Schnauzer we adore! I was born and raised in church and accepted Christ at the age of 6. I am very thankful for my strong Christian upbringing and parents who were amazing examples of how to love and serve God. I pursued non-educational careers that involved working with children and families, but always had a tug at my heart to be a teacher. God provided for me to see this desire come true in 2017 and this is my 4th year teaching at CCCS.

5th Grade: Carrie Urbalejo

Carrie grew up in Michigan and accepted Christ as her Savior while attending Northern Michigan University during the summer of 1995. She has volunteered during VBS and is a Sunday morning greeter in children’s ministries. Carrie graduated from the Northern Michigan University in 1996 with a degree in zoology but did not go directly into education.

After 18 years in public education, she was led by the Lord to a position at Calvary Chapel Christian School. Carrie is married to Jonathan Urbalejo, a 3rd grade teacher at CCCS. They have been married for almost 16 years and have one daughter Emily. Her favorite verse is Ecclesiastes 3. In her free time, Carrie enjoys reading, sewing, baking, and spending time with her family.
